The Jackson Family

The Jackson Family

This ministry was raised up by God and is not the result of a slick formula or entertainment agenda. It comes from the heart of a humble family, as each member passionately desires to see people of all nations transformed by the power of Jesus. In these end times, before Christ’s return, the Jacksons see a desperate need for renewed humility, holiness, repentance and seeking the presence of God in our personal lives and in the church. This family seeks to fulfill the calling of God on their lives by sharing Jesus Christ with billions who don’t know Him and have never accepted His salvation. In any concert appearance, the Jacksons are praying with people making decisions to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Marriages are being restored, single-parents are encouraged, young people are challenged to a higher standard, and those who have been hurt in relationships are lifted to new levels of hope and healing. Music is an effective tool for the Jacksons; it speaks to the heart, brings down walls, and gives entrance for spiritual truth. Dealing with relevant family issues, these concerts have been a powerful vehicle that brings people to a place where they can make important life-changing choices.
The Jacksons have traveled extensively both nationally and internationally. Their message has been widely received by churches in the U.S. of more than 30 different denominations. They have been amazed that God is now taking this ministry to a new level; doors of opportunity are opening to touch greater numbers of families; and countries all across Asia have extended an open invitation to the Jacksons. Over more than 22 years of ministry, the Jacksons have been solely supported by donations received. They are looking toward aggressive new plans for upcoming Asian tours, groundbreaking new recordings and unprecedented ministry expansion. This is a grass roots family focus that turns “the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers” (Malachi 4:6); it has the potential to bring about spiritual revival on a global level.
In 1988, FamilySong Ministries was established as a non-profit corporation facilitating the ministry outreaches of the Jackson Family. While serving in a pastoral capacity in a local church, Bruce Jackson and his family saw firsthand the tremendous struggles within marriages and family relationships. The Jacksons were commissioned as “Missionaries to the Family” and stepped into full-time evangelism. The Jacksons’ four children demonstrated exceptional giftedness in music and communication that has added an important dimension to the growing ministry. Many scripture verses have been instrumental in shaping the vision of this ministry; these have provided foundation for the mission of this family as they have continued to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

James 1:27- “This is pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father,
to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.”

Psalm 68:5,6- “A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows is God in his holy dwelling.
God sets the lonely in families, he leads forth the prisoners with singing”

Isaiah 58: 6-12- “Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard. Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I. If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.
